Bortz Health Care of Oakland provides the highest level of care within an active, welcoming atmosphere. Facility Administrator Janet Lieder has been working in long-term care since 1986, and is a two-time winner of the Bortz Health Care President's Award for her outstanding work.

The staff physician attends to our residents, following a regular schedule and is always available. As needed, the services of a dentist, ophthalmologist, podiatrist, and other health care specialists are provided. We are happy to arrange appointments with family doctors or specialists at your request.

Bortz Health Care of Oakland offers a wide range of accommodation choices, from mini-suites to both private and semi-private rooms. In fact, you'll find options to meet virtually any financial need and individual preference. If you are looking for short stay accommodations, we can help, providing short stay care with all the comforts of home so you can take a trip or take a break with complete peace of mind.

We are proud to provide seven days a week skilled nursing services to our residents. We provide physical, occupational and speech therapy, dementia care, hospice and respit services in a comfortable, warm facility.
